About the role
You'll shape how GabForge feels for people who don't think of themselves as "tech people". As Product Designer you own flows, interface and the small details that make AI feel calm instead of intimidating.
What you'll do
- Design end-to-end flows from research to polished, shippable UI.
- Grow and maintain our design system alongside engineering.
- Prototype interactions for chat, streaming and agent hand-offs.
- Defend simplicity — for our users, less really is more.
Why it matters
Good design is the difference between "an AI tool" and "the thing my dad actually uses".
Requirements
What we're looking for
- 4+ years of product design with a strong portfolio of shipped work.
- Mastery of a modern design tool (Figma) and interaction/motion design.
- Ability to design for clarity and accessibility, not just aesthetics.
- Comfortable working closely with engineers on real implementation.
Nice to have
- Experience designing AI / conversational interfaces.
- Some comfort in code (HTML/CSS) to prototype.
