About the role
The boring parts done well. As a Platform Backend Engineer you'll build the auth, billing, orchestration and APIs that everything else stands on.
What you'll do
- Build and maintain the orchestration layer that coordinates the PA and plugin agents.
- Own auth and identity across our family of sites (single sign-on done right).
- Design clean, versioned internal APIs that the product and agents consume.
- Keep the system observable, secure and boringly reliable.
Why it matters
The magic users see depends on plumbing they never will. You make it trustworthy.
Requirements
What we're looking for
- 4+ years building backend services in production.
- Strong with TypeScript/Node or Python, plus PostgreSQL.
- Solid grasp of auth, sessions and API security.
- You write for the engineer who maintains it next.
Nice to have
- Experience with multi-tenant systems or identity providers.
- Event-driven / queue-based architectures.
